Smoked Salted Short Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs short ribs

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • Smoked Sea Salt for seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Set oven to 300°F.

  2. Brown Short Ribs: In a Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear short ribs on all sides until browned. Remove from pot and set aside.

  3. Sauté Aromatics: In the same pot, sauté chopped onions and minced garlic until softened and fragrant.

  4. Braise: Return short ribs to the pot, add beef broth and soy sauce, then cover and braise in the oven for 3-4 hours until tender.

  5. Finish with Smoked Sea Salt: Once cooked, season with Smoked Sea Salt for an extra layer of smoky depth before serving.
