5 Easy Ways to Use Caravel Gourmet’s Asian Ginger Sea Salt in Recipes

Great on asian cuisine like noodles, stir-fry, soups and sauces!

Sauteed Asian Ginger Peas. With either fresh or frozen peas, add to a pan with a pat of butter and saute on low for a few minutes, until the peas are a bright green color and tender to the touch. Add a bit more butter, and a bit of garlic. Don’t add Caravel Gourmet’s Asian Ginger Sea Salt until you’re ready to serve - this will dehydrate the peas, especially if they’re frozen.

Asian Ginger Pork Chop. Do you know when to salt pork? Pork that is salted too soon can come out dry. We recommend salting it right before you cook it for the best flavor and juiciest texture. Generously sprinkle Caravel Gourmet’s Asian Ginger Sea Salt on all sides before preparing it.

Pan-Roasted Asian Ginger Butternut Squash. As beautiful as they are delicious, summer or winter squash can be prepared this way. Chop the squash into 1” cubes, and toss with 2 tbsp. olive oil and 2 tsp. Caravel Gourmet’s Asian Ginger Sea Salt. Roast in a 400F oven until the squash is lightly brown and soft, about 30 minutes.

Grilled Asian Ginger Shrimp. Preheat your grill to medium heat, then mix 2 tablespoons of olive oil, a teaspoon of paprika, and a tablespoon of Caravel Gourmet’s Asian Ginger Sea Salt. Toss the shelled shrimp in that mixture, then grill each side of the shrimp for 2-3 minutes, until opaque.

Flash Fried Asian Ginger Green Beans. Keep the beans crispy and get all of the flavor, too, by quickly flash frying them. Toss the beans with olive oil and Caravel Gourmet’s Asian Ginger Sea Salt, put a bit of olive oil in the pan, then quickly heat the beans in the pan till they turn bright green.

GINGER SPICE FLAVOR: This Ginger infused sea salt is made with pure, fresh ginger and is great with fish, beef, chicken, vegetables, noodle dishes and even contemporary desserts to enhance the flavor and balance. Revered as a culinary, medicinal spice and dietary condiment in many traditional cultures, ginger has become well-known for its health benefits including boosting bone health, immune system and appetite.
